Zero mark for that particular effort. I'm not bothered though, because it's entirely my fault. There's no excuse. But the one I missed accounts for 20% of one of my six modules in the first semester...it's basically a drop in the ocean.     * Best Member - Toby or Davies.
    * Best Thread - Footy thread, although it's too quiet.
    * Best Quote - Toby in general.
    * Best Burn - Something really witty that I've said, probz.
    * Biggest CKY Fan in the Universe - Probably Kels, the tattooed mentalist.
    * Person Who Just Makes the Alliance that Little Bit More Lovely - Lucy.
    * Friendliest, Most Helpful Member - Davies or Lucy.
    * Sexiest Member (Male and female awards here folks - You don't have to vote for your own sex unless you want to!) - Lucy, obviously.
    * Funniest Member - Toby or Kels (unintentionally).
    * Biggest Smartarse - Kels or Leigh
    * Embodiment of Alliance Spirit - Could be a number of people, but probably someone like Max. He's young and therefore the future. I dunno.
    * Lifetime Achievement - Shell for her discussion threads.

Media Awards

    * Best Band - Alkaline Trio (amazing new album)
    * Best Music Man - Get Cape (ditto)
    * Best Music Woman - Britney Spears and her return to form!
    * Best Album - Either Elbow's Seldom Seen Kid or Alk3's Agony and Irony
    * Best Song - Elbow's One Day Like This
    * Best Actor - Heath Ledger may be obvious, but come on, there's no contest.
    * Best Actress - Megan Fox is aesthetically pleasing...
    * Best Film - Dark Knight
    * Best Director - John Favreau
    * Best Screenplay - Christopher Nolan (Dark Knight)
    * Best Game - I've only really played S.T.A.L.K.E.R and that was released in 2007.
    * Best Game Character - See above
    * Best Game Story - And again
    * Best T.V. Man - Charlie Brooker
    * Best T.V. Woman - Davina McCall
    * Best Show - Screenywipers
    * T.V. Moment of the Year - The entire 'writers special' ep of Screenwipe. Inspirational telly.
    * Film Moment of the Year - The truck being flipped end over end in the Dark Knight.
    * Game Moment of the Year - More home runs than my brother on the Wii Sports baseball training.
    * Most Generally Awesome Overall Effort by a Production - Dark Knight again probably.
    * Best Book - The Mighty Book of Boosh >cultured<

World Awards

    * Man of the Year - Gotta be yer man Barack.
    * Woman of the Year - By way of contrast, Sarah Palin, for being such an almighty cunt.
    * Funniest Global Event / News Story of the Year - Shoes at Bush FTW. Although watching the Daily Mail piss their knickers over Ross and Brand was quite amusing too.
    * Most Important Event - Obama's victory.
    * Moment of the Year - Sport hasn't really got a look in here so far, so the incredible Olympic achievements by Team GB. All of them.
    * Biggest Arsehole - Simon Cowell, for his continued insistence on slitting the cultural throat of our nation.
